Jefferson Jones
I'm Jefferson, the founder of Third Reef Research. I have over 15 years of development experience across embedded systems, mobile and web applications, cloud infrastructure, and AI.
My work has taken me from the circuit board to the cloud, and everywhere in between. I've helped build companies and the technology they depend on, from field communications to regulated financial products and wildfire intelligence.

At Figure, I worked on the next generation of financial services, engineering highly regulated products including mortgage lending and integrations with blockchains.
Ignis
As a founding team member at Ignis, I help build our next-generation wildfire common operating platform. We serve over 20,000 wildland firefighters and partner with federal agencies including the U.S. Department of the Interior. My work spans mobile apps, geospatial data processing and delivery, and real-time air-to-ground infrared video streaming. Bridger Aerospace acquired Ignis in September 2023. I continue building the platform today.
