Third Reef Research (TRR) is a Hawaii-based software and hardware
engineering studio founded by Jefferson Jones. TRR provides deep software and hardware
development expertise to founders, small and large businesses, and established engineering teams.

  mortgage lending and blockchain integrations.

  building a wildfire common operating platform serving over 20,000 wildland
  firefighters, with federal agency partnerships including the U.S. Department
  of the Interior.
  His work spans mobile apps, geospatial data processing and delivery,
  and real-time air-to-ground infrared video streaming.

## Working with TRR

Third Reef Research is a new studio built on over 15 years of engineering
experience. We’re welcoming our first clients. Bring an idea, an existing
project, or a problem you need help solving.

You’ll work directly with the founder, from the initial conversation through
technical decisions and delivery. TRR handles design as part of
development and brings in designers when the project needs more specialized
design work.

Whether you have an early idea, an existing project, or a difficult technical
problem, get in touch. A technical background or a finished
specification isn't required to start a conversation.
